May included end of year preschool picnic, "graduation", visit from grandma and papa (mr. fix-it), visit from the Conlee's (my sister and her kids), and many birthday celebrations (twins and mommy and daddy). Those are just a few things going on...probably why I didn't get any of it documented!!

UPDATES!!!

So as you can tell I've been behind on blogging....I'm going to attempt to catch up a little bit!

These first pics are a few of some fantastic pics that Scott had done for me for mother's day! They really are great and I can't post all of them. Thanks to our friend Jess that took these. They were taken near the library where the fountain is and the city plants wildflowers. Daddy did a great job sneaking around. Needless to say, pics of 4 are just a little too much at this stage!!

Pictures I will treasure forever...they are almost 5 years old!!!

These are the 4th annual TX blue bonnett pictures!

Easter Photos

The littlest, not so little man!
Hard to get a pic of this guy...on the move

so silly and getting so big

To cute and handsome!

Kisses for the baby

All four...good luck!

Almost all looking at me
We made it to 8am Easter service at Watermark this morning. We took D & D into the service. It was so great. We sang great worship songs and they knew many of them. Each of them claimed a parent and sang sang sang. It was sweet. I looked around and saw a few families I know with older kids and I realized how much I needed to cherish the moment I was in. My sweet boy wanting me to pick him up, to sing praise songs unashamedly with arms held high, to snuggle up in my lap and whisper things in my ear.

It was a very stormy morning, somehow we dashed in and out with 4 boys between thunderstorms!! We came home and I tried to take a few photos of all 4 boys sort of dressed up....see above!

Easter Party

sugar cookies..yum!
hunting eggs

just before the egg hunt....

C having a blast on the playground while I hid eggs

such a big boy
So I got to help with the easter party for D & D, hiding eggs, bringing snacks, etc. Store bought frosted sugar cookies and juice boxes were a hit. My co-host made sparkly playdoh and we brought cookie cutters to play with the playdoh. It was a big hit. Not a whole lot of discussion about the cross. I'm never sure how much can be talked about at school. This is an area I pray I will become more bold in as our kids enter public elementary school.

Children's Museum....Boy MOM

Mommy and her 4 boys!!! Cool Boy Mom tshirt. Blood, Sweat and Tears!!

Digging for "fossils"

Yes, that is sand...it doesn't stick

Having a great time in the sand!
The best birthday present ever has been the membership to the Dallas Children's Musuem. We have been probably 10 times this year and they always want more. It is a little challenging to take all 4 but they typically are so good. This time one of the twins freaked out that I wouldn't let him use the boys bathroom and made him come in the girls restroom. How do you explain to a 4 year old that he can't go alone in a mens bathroom?? Not now and probably not for a few more years. tears all the way through using the ladies room to walking out to the car. Not sure what made him stop crying and I'm sure I will encounter it again:)

Happy Easter!!!

What a Glorious day! Oh, Happy Day! Jesus Paid it all! These are the thoughts that run through my head as I dwell on the true and awesome meaning of Easter. I'm a sinner through and through, yet my God loved me enough to sacrifice his son, Jesus Christ, on a cross to pay the price of my sin. His blood covers all the wrong that I have done and all that I will do. As the mommy of 4 boys, I can not fathom how this would feel to sacrifice a child for the sake of mankind. So now I know him personally, I can talk to him, walk with him, cry to him, rejoice in him, love him, read about him, look to him and cling to him. He is my Saviour. I am forever grateful and daily learn more about how much I need him. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Our other soccer player!!!!

yeah, the other D scored his first goal last weekend!!!! It was a sweet moment. He scored, gave Coach a high five and looked for his Daddy!!! The team has improved so much even this season. Looking forward to many more fun games!
